The Junior Analyst (Finance & Accounting), reporting directly to the Service Center Leader, will be an individual contributor that will play a critical role in delivering high-quality finance and accounting services to WiseOwl Solutions Philippines and U.S. based clients.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Core Accounting Operations
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including closing activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Handle client’s accounts receivable activity including preparation of customer invoices for review, approval, and emailing to clients.
- Monitor daily bank transactions and perform cash application.
- Perform bi-monthly payroll accounting.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Handle internal and external client companies with professionalism and accuracy.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant tax regulations.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Analysis, Planning, and Collaboration
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance as needed.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to ensure smooth coordination of accounting operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support financial initiatives.
Other task that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of [2] years of experience in accounting; experience with BPO client is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
· Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Flexibility to work on U.S. time zone if required
